It’s time to highlight one of our customers LeapScribe. They are transforming medical documentation from a manual task into a background process, effectively shifting focus to patient care instead of admin. Needless to say, this has the potential to change what a workday looks and feels like for a healthcare professional!

We sat down with Edvin Tidevall, their CEO and co-founder, and had a chat about what inspired him to found LeapScribe and his vision for the future.

What was the driving force behind your decision to create this tool?

When studying to become a doctor I quickly grasped the administrative burden that healthcare personnel have to deal with. When starting to practice clinically the issue only became clearer to me. I noticed the how people constantly worked overtime to catch up on administration – still feeling insufficient in their work.

Eager not to burn myself out working overtime with admin, I sat down looking for solutions. Fast forward to today, we have now created LeapScribe – an AI- driven administration tool aiming to reduce the time and energy spent on administrative tasks within healthcare.

How has your solution been received among healthcare professionals?

The reception has been above expectations actually. While we always believed that our solution can make a difference, the feedback and reviews exceeded our expectations by far! One of our first customers told me that they saved up to 2 hours daily on administrative tasks by using our tool. While that was great news to us we became even happier when they said that they now leave work more energised thanks to our solution. Having seen the stress and fatigue of todayʼs healthcare personnel, this meant a lot to us.

In what ways do you believe your solution is making a positive impact on healthcare?

We see three core benefits of using LeapScribe. Firstly, letting our AI generate the basis of your administrative documents you can save precious time, enabling more patients to get the help they need while reducing overtime work at your clinic. Secondly, our customers constantly say that LeapScribe have helped them increase the quality of their documentation, not because they cannot do it themselves, but because they usually donʼt have the time to write them as thoroughly. Lastly, LeapScribe contributes to a more enjoyable work environment for healthcare professionals. Creating a medical note from an AI- written basis is a lot easier than writing it from scratch, saving you plenty of mental energy to do what you do best – helping patients.
